What does subtraction really do to us?
Imagine the situation where you receive satisfaction from an external stimulus.
Whether it’s the number of flowers to fill your vision, or the number of words to fill your mind, you can start subtracting the stimulus.
Through the subtraction process, the void starts to emerge where the extremal stimulus once occupied.
Satisfaction from external stimulus starts diminishing as the amount of stimulus decreases, but your internal force (e.g. vision/cognitive abilities) awakens and starts working hard towards the void.
